Hi From Intrepid Of Dover

We are a 41ft UK cruising yacht, and will be sailing up from the southern Caribbean this year, cruising as far as Maine then back a bit warmer for next winter. We hope to meet up with many great US boaters as we have done before!

Welcome to the forum.

Re: Hi From Intrepid Of Dover

Howdy and Welcome Aboard the Forum!

I always liked the name "Intrepid."

Since you are going up the East Coast of the USA, and I assume you will visit New York City, make a point to visit the museum ship "Intrepid" that is docked on the Hudson River. It is an aircraft carrier that has many rare aircraft on it (e.g. a SR71 Blackbird) and there are other things to see too (an old USN submarine).

Ahoy All Sailors! Need Crew for a long voyage either coastal, ICW, or across an ocean in 2016-2017? I am available. See my CF Profile "About Me" page for details. Happy to lend a hand!
