Hi everybody! Just reached to this page and have already learnt a lot from you all! Hope I may keep on learning about sailing and great places.
I have sailed since baby... my dad is a great sailor, and I have been his crew for many years. We are currently sailing a Bavaria 39, which we bought in Spain, so we sailed it there first and then along Morocco, to finally cross the Atlantic. So we have spent the last seasons sailing around the caribbean. Hope I may get later more info about the abc islands.. where we are sailing this season.
By the way, I would be glad to be helpful with information to whom ever wants to sail down here!! I know my coasts from top to bottom... up to Cape Horn.

Hope you find the site as valuable as we do. We're off next month to visit your country - walking rather than sailing - but have booked a short spot of luxury at the end of the vacation when we jump aboard the Mere Australis for a 5 day cruise out and round Cape Horn!

Wowww that trip is gorgeous!! A friend of mine have just done it at the Mar Australis! Dont forget to bring your camera, there are some incredible landscapes there, as well as virgin places! Let me know if I can be of any help for you during your visit!!

Hi there! We want to head your way from Australia eastwards across the Pacific. Yes it will be a hard sail! We would be aiming for Puerto Montt then head around the straits of Patagonia. We have the Rolfo Ardizzi Nautical guide which looks good. We have already sailed around the world once (going westwards) so this will be more challenging. If you know of anyone else doing it this way from Australia or New Zealand let me know!
