Hi everyone -considering purchase

Hi there

My name is Chris and I've completed the RYA level 2 fairly recently and am now looking at buying a boat in partnership with my dad. Got a few questions so I found this forum and joined up! Very much looking forward to developing our sailing and hopefully cut down on our carbon footprint by sailing to countries rather than flying! Central Europe might be a problem...

So hello!!

hi there cpmathews and welcome to CF. Congratulations on your level 2 endorsement as well.

Boat partnering is a great way to start IMO. The boat gets used more, the costs are halved and the fun is shared.

Might think about filling in a bit of your profile and letting us know more about you!

Aloha and Welcome aboard! I once used 35 gal of diesel to go 2500 miles so yes, it is more fuel friendly.

Kind regards,
