Smile Hi everyone

Hello all, this is Eugene.

I have been reading many informative posts in this discussion board, and thought I should get involved. I am only a cruiser wannabe... However I am always dreaming about the lifestyle... I live on the bay (Chesapeake) in Havre de Grace, MD, which is just gorgeous. I have ties with NZ (I am a kiwi, in a round-about sort of way). Hope to live there someday... nothing like it!

I have been happily married for 13 yrs, and have a 2.5 yr daughter. I will post pics as soon as I figure out how to do it...

Things I am interested in: cruising the ICW/Bahamas, smaller boats (under 32 ft is a must for me), crewing oportunities for anyone who is shorthanded (I have a lot of free time on my hands in the US summer), as well as socialising with like-minded people. I know the upper bay pretty well, if anyone is passing through, let me know.

Cheers,
Eugene

Hi there -- Yes, I would really like to get back to NZ -- my wife keeps pushing for that to happen, and she's the American... By the way -- I loved the picture from the base. Must be an incredible experience being so far south. When you'll be back in NZ where do you normally live?

Right now over the Chesapeake it's over 10Celsius though -- might go for a sail afterall...

Welcome aboard! If you need any info on the ICW in the Ft. Lauderdal/Miami area let me know. Best of luck!

Mmmm. 10 degrees C. It's almost that warm here at the moment.
I normally live in Pelorous Sound but when I get back in March we're shifting aboard our boat in Picton and heading off around NZ for 6 months.
