I did not suggest any one to buy a wind generator instead of solar cells, they are just more efficient in the right areas ie trade wind belts etc. If you are in the doldrums then by all means get solar cells.

Yes, at the moment I am based in Sydney and did that cruise from Sydney to Cairns and Cape York about 20 years ago - FANTASTIC!
