Hi All !

I have been reading the forums for several years now and always found good information here. My wife and I have taken a year off from work and we are currently on a cruise to Mexico in our Fraser 41 sailboat Kist. I may need to ask some questions on our journey so I thought I would join up to get some help from some more experienced cruisers. Hope to talk to some of you in the future.

Re: Hi All!

Welcome aboard Kevin. Are you sailing all the way down the west coast right now? From the weather reports, sounds like alot of ruff sailing. We left the Columbia River bar and sailed down to Oxnard, Ca. this summer. We had several miserable days and nights on the water. Around Pt. Conception were 40 knt. winds. It took us 4 days to get to Santa Barbara from Santa Cruz. Please watch out for that area. Good sailing and God bless. Brenda
