Huh!

Thanks Fixer but yer makin me kinda nervous calling me "Sir".

And I can do a bit better than think bluewater,

I've taken much needed baths in the middle of the Atlantic, Mexico's Baja on my way south and north, the Virgin's, E & W coasts, and the Great Lakes!

(all to the olfactory relief of my crewmates!)

So yeah us landlocked guys can get around a bit...

Welcome aboard Cliff (ughmo),
Don't mind 29 fixer. He's had his boat "as a yard ornament" for a while (land locked). He's just jealous.
There's a bunch of good old sailors here with lots of experience in the water and the yards.
And all sailors are welcome here being blue, green, or brown. They all have experience that can be of benefit to all!
Have you any pictures to share with us?

Hi Cliff,
I'm just up the road in Marion. Been boating on Lake Michigan since '84. Now that both kids are off to college, Jane and I took the boat south instead of the usual dreadful haul out. Just got back home b-4 Thanksgiving and had a great trip. Check it out www.seaplanetearth.com

Talking Heyyyyyy, now wait a minnit here!

Your just being judgemental because you have something that FLOATS ! I could float too if my vessel were floatable.
I claim the right to be INCLUDED instead of EXCLUDED because of the FLOTATION issue. Discrimination thats what it is, DISCRIMINATION ! Them who can float, disdain, YES, disdain them that can't!
Someday when I'm king, The Floaters will regret their remarks

Thanks everyone!

Even you fixer! It's good to be here, (hell it's good to be anywhere for that matter!), and I look forward to visiting often.

Hi, and thanks Greg!

While I've always gone to sea by sail, I just returned from crewing a 52' trawler to Isla Mujeres.

I think I got spoiled! My own private compartment, twin diesels, twin generators, 40 gal PER HOUR watermaker, esspresso machine, et.al.

I worked my butt off getting her ready and I don't think I'd care to have to pay the fuel bills but it was sure nice once at sea!
