Hi all

Well I have finally stepped from the trailor sailor scene up to a liveaboard cruiser in the form of a Wilf O'Kell 46.She has been neglected for a long time but is basically a 1 owner vessel built in the same boatyard in Sydney she now sits out from untill I bring her to her new home in Melbourne next week. As I have a lot of work to do on her and I have no experience on Ferro boats I would love to hear from other ferro owners, especially ones on port phillip or westernport. The old steel masts are now gone ,so the search is on for new ones.
Also if anyone knows anything about Mr O'Kell and his plans ,I am trying to track down the missing sheets to mine as I beleive she was a special order one off.
all the best for the new year,

Welcome aboard and fixing up a boat is one of those life changing experiences. You'll learn more than you ever thought possible and gladly spend more money than a drunken sailor. With enough focus you probably can do it all. Just don't forget: "It's all supposed to be fun." It can help on those rare days when it's not.
