Hey there - I'm a Newby

I am a 56 year old adventurous Canadian woman who is looking for an opportunity to once again be on the ocean. I worked on a prawn trawler years ago as a decky here is Australia so I know I do not get sea sick and I am back in Australia on a sabatical and have no schedule and can go where the wind blows me so to speak. Would love to hear about any opportunities or places I could go to try to find opportunities. I am presently on the Sunshine Coast till the wind blows me somewhere else

Re: Hey There I'm a Newby

Find the 'Crew Wanted' section. Post yourself there. Give a good idea of where you are, what your limits are in terms of time and cost of flights, and what you expect to do aboard.
Any formal qualifications help commercial delivery skippers with insurance etc, and practical experience helps with 'come along for the ride' skippers.
