Hello, We Looking To Buy a New Catamaran and Need Help..

Hi, We are looking to buy a catamaran and would like advice.

We have come down to the Leopard 50ft and the SunReef 50ft as our final choices.

Does anyone own and Leopard or SunReef 50ft and can you you assist us in making up our minds as to which one is more suitable for a cruising life style, has little issues, more reliable and has a good after sales service from manufacturers?

All opinions and advice is welcome!

Re: Hello, We Looking To Buy a New Catamaran and Need Help..

Good morning, Spirit.

I hate to have one of your first posts, and a good question to boot, go unanswered, but after 24 hours and Gord May posting (Gord usually has three paragraphs of very helpful information; he's a gold mine), it's going unanswered. So, it may be like buying a house. Which one do you like, which one is more comfortable to you and yours? You are in a strong position from which to dig for answers - there are more boats where they come from, so no one can buy one out from under you, and you should be able to get short water trials from both dealers. If that results in specific questions that are narrower (What do people think about this head/stove brand versus that one), hopefully you'll get more help. Good luck with it.
