Hello to all

This is my first posting to the forums -- Hello to all! I've been a lurker enjoying vicarious cruising for some months now.

My husband and I now have a new-to-us boat and are ready to head south from Sausalito, but, guess what, the wind shifted and we are sitting waiting for the NW winds to return! We're not from here, but have spent a lot of time cruising the Northwest and Southern California. Now we are free to head to Baja, just waiting on the wind.

Our old boat was a gaff-rigged schooner, so our new/old ketch is much easier for us to handle.

We hope to meet many of you out there. You have all already been more help to us than you may ever know.
