Hello - New Here

Hello all.

My name is Kevin and my wife and I are about to by our first sail boat. I have had power boats my entire life but think I'm ready to ride the wind. hope to get some good advise and make some new friends here.

Welcome to the site and mayhem.

Lots of good info here, lots of good commentary, and lots of good folks. I've worked on powerboats almost all of my career but am buying a sailboat. I miss the quiet and challenge of sailing.

Tell us what you are looking to do? Sailing area? Ideas in your head as to what you like/want/desire in a boat?

Eveyone has an opinion, if you ask we will let you know

Be open minded and learn along the journey, you will take bits and pieces from here and there and form your own conclusions (yea some of us you will dissregard totaly... maybe me, but others may just hit the nail on the head).

Cheers

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Kevin & bride.

It’s always nice to welcome a boater over from the dark side (power).
