pirate Hello from Zion National Park

Hello!
My husband and I have been living and working in national parks for the last 2,5 years and loving it! But our ultimate dream was always to sail and live on the sea. We are both scuba divers and we love the sea. This winter we are planning to learn how to sail and we already started to research about boats and browse ads.
Hopefully soon we will find the boat and start living our biggest dream!

I would recommend taking a sailing course on a beautiful lake near you. Start off on a 25 footer or smaller sailboat. Take an ASA course in basic boat handling. You should google ASA for training locations. The basic course will help you to decide how well sailing works for you. Check out the need crew ads. Be honest and let them know your level of experience and skills. You two will do great. Go for it.

Welcome!
Zion National Park and the rest of the National Parks of Southren Utah and Northren Arizonia are some of the most prestine and beautiful places in the US. I've spent some time in the town of Hurriciane, Utah before visiting Zions.
Be very careful what you dream for. Dreams can come true.

Aloha and Welcome aboard!
We have a couple of Rangers from Volcanos National Park in our club. We provide free instruction for members so get stationed over here and join our club for $50 a year. www.hilo-sailing.org

Hey MagdaM,

Glad to see you here! If you're ever up in the Puget Sound area of Washington, I ALWAYS have time for a day sail with some fellow NPS employees!
