Hello from Wisconsin

Good afternoon. My name is Karen and I live in Waunakee Wisconsin. My husband Mike, son Alex (age 10) and I are the proud new owners of a 1991 Tartan 372. This past weekend was moving weekend...moving gear from our Pearson 31 to the Tartan. Our sailing season is short...it's finally above 50 and we are looking forward to some good times on this boat. We reside at the Manitowoc Marina and very much enjoy sailing Lake Michigan.

Welcome Aboard. Your season may be short, but there are still many good sailing days there.

Aloha Krosy61,
Welcome aboard! Good to have you here. You've made some great choices for boats. What's your plan for the Pearson? There is a good advertisement section on the forum.
Kind regards,
JohnL

SkiprJohn,
On a whim, my husband listed our Pearson (Orion) with a broker last October thinking that it would take maybe a year to sell. It sold in 30 days sight unseen to a gentleman from Montana. We are doing some final teakwork on the boat for him and he will be coming to Wisconsin in August to see her and take her for a sail. Needless to say, that forced us to look for a boat. All boats we have owned (25ft Cape Dory Typhoon Sr., 31ft Pearson) have been wonderful and we are looking forward to our experiences aboard "Selah" the Tartan 372.

Karen
