Hello From Webster New York!

Hello everyone!

I've been here on and off for a while, (lurking) and thought I would re-introduce myself.
My wife and I sail Lake Ontario, out of Sodus Bay, NY. We currently have a Morgan 44, that we are outfitting for long term coastal cruising, in about 4-5 yrs. We started with a Hunter 25.5, that I bought on the way home from work one day. What a nice surprise that was for everyone. After raising 2 girls on the water, the boat got really small really fast, so I bought a Hunter 34. This time it was a group decision We all took sailing lessons, the kids really excelled in 420's, the wife and I started racing, and we cruised all over Ontario, and love the lifestyle. We just sold the Hunter last year, and have a year with the Morgan, and love it. So here we are, the kids are gone (almost), we're getting the house ready to sell, and we're getting the boat ready to cruise.

It's been a fun ride so far, and this forum has been a lot of help.
Cheers,

PJ

We're going to head out the St Lawrence, then, down and back up the coast the first year. If we like it, we'll venture off to the Bahamas, and who know's where after that. At least that's the plan. Four years seems like a long time, but I know it will come at us fast. In the mean time we'll sail Ontario some more, and get her ready.

Thanks for asking
