Hello from Vancouver

hello sailors,

My partner and I have some sailing experience and we just started cruising on our Tanzer 26, docked near Deep Cove. So far we have sailed mainly in the Indian Arm and Port Moody, but we are planning some longer trips this summer and I'm hoping to get some advice from other sailors on good places to go!

cheers,

Joanne

Welcome Joanne - I can tell you lots about South East Tasmania and the D'Entrecasteaux Channel but that is probably not helpful at this stage. I like your part of the world though!

Hi J
I cruised your area quite a bit in the 80s and I am looking forward to getting back up there. I sailed out of Port Townsend and ventured to Desolation Sound a few times.
You are in for a lot of fun.

Aloha Joanne,
What a wonderful place to sail. I've looked it over many times and sailed the straits to Bremerton and did the locks in Seattle but that's nothing compared to the world you have to explore.
Kind regards,
JohnL
