Hello from Toronto

My husband (Dave) and I purchased a 28 ft Tanzer last summer and just love sailing. We were sad to see it put away for the winter but spring will soon be here. We are just learning so we took some lessons and only go out on fair weather days. Our kids call it our trailer on the water. But it is much better then that as we are only 15 minutes from it and it is so peaceful and calming even at dock.

Welcome aboard! Congratulations on your new boat. Hopefully cruising the forum will help pass the winter. Between a few good sailing books, some projects on the boat and planing some modest cruises it will go fast. Check the charts, maybe you can find a nice peaceful out of the way spot to anchor, much better than the dock. Good luck.
