hello from toronto

Hi everyone

i have been lurking on this site for a while.
today i registered and want to say hello to everyone on board.
presently, i do not own a sailboat but i have taken some sailing courses and engine mtce courses.
in the future (within a year--i hope) i will be purchasing a used sailboat.

i don't know what i want, how much to spend, etc... etc...
hopefully i can learn a lot on this site.

welcome

Oh, no, another rich "frostback" coming down with Canadian dollars to buy our boats and charm our women. LOL Welcome. I have had the pleasure of meeting a gaggle of delightful Canadians in the Oriental area in the few months I have had Immrama there. Whether shopping for boats, or pausing on the journey down south or back north, they have been graceful and quietly competent, sort of my stereotypical image of Canadian built sailboats now that I think of it.

Anyway welcome and have fun.

You can always spend more, but learning to spend wisely takes a bit of patience. Enjoy all the good stuff here. I know there is a lot of good stuff around to help you along the way. We make new stuff every day too. Personally, I like them canuck boats just fine.
