Hello From The Gulf Coast!

Hello All! New to the forum and just saying hi. My hubby and I are getting ready to buy our first "live aboard" yacht, which has been a dream for us both. Figured this is a great place to meet friends and get good advice. Cheers!

Re: Hello From The Gulf Coast!

Welcome aboard GulfGal73! I see that your husband is a USAF Hurricane Hunter. Wow.

Good luck finding your boat, and don't buy one named Katrina, Camille, Ike, or Carla....

Thanks, Steve! One day. We're still looking for a local aboard boat. I've only ever had experiences with smaller power boats and one small sailboat, so this is a NEW chapter for us definitely.

Re: Hello From The Gulf Coast!

Welcome to CF you guys!!!!

There are a TON of really great CF members right in your back yard!!!
I can think of at least 10, right off the bat... Can't vouch for group9 personally.... Bet he likes rum, debauchery, and appears to know a thing or 5,000 though...

The move in live aboard weather is right around the corner.... Ask questions and ... Get Crackin!

Yer N. MS brethren...
