Hello from the Chesapeake Bay

Hello,

I look forward to corresponding with others who have small older sailboats with issues and unique engineering and perhaps I might find a fellow Dufour 27 owner.

I sail a 1974 Dufour 27 on the Upper/Middle Chesapeake Bay, my home port is on the Magothy River and I cruise from Fairlee Creek, MD to Saint Michaels, MD with occasional trips up the Chester River to the Langford Bay area.

I have participated in both the Good Old Boat Race non spinnaker division and the Hospice Cup several times and have never finished Last.

Its good to have you here. My boat isn't too small but has had lots of issues and is very unique in engineering.
Congratulations on the races! I try to make it a point not to come in last.
