Hello from The Chesapeake Bay

A quick look at where folks are from is impressive. My wife and I have boated in the Chesapeake area for twenty years on houseboats mainly. In 2013 we bought a Heritage East trawler and took side trips up to Canada and south to Outer Banks. In just a few short years she will be joining me in retirement and we hope to pack up, sell the house and cars, and move on. We are thinking of Abacos for the first leg and decide what else as we go along. We have joined several groups like this one and I am an MTOA Port Captain for our area (as of yesterday).
We look forward to learning from and contributing to this site and meeting some of you along the way.
Thanks, John & Donna Bedell

I see you hail from Worton's Creek. We have anchored there in our CD-28, a very lovely spot.
