Hello from St Marys

I'm 25 and Just bought a 30ft hunter sloop two months ago. It's my first sailboat and love living aboard. Trying to figure out ways to kill time a little better...anyone have any suggestions? Good books or anything?

Congratulations on joining the boat owners club.

St Marys GA or is there another one? If GA have they loosened up on the anti-liveaboard rules?

So anchored off the north end of Amelia Island? I stopped there on my way south last fall and my brother-in-law's brother (is that a brother-in-law-in-law?) is anchored off of Fernandina last I heard.

Yea it can get pretty bad. The wind was a huge issue when I left. It was blowing steady 30knots for about three days straight.

Get Roberto Bolaños' books 2666 and The Savage Detectives, go to the north end of Cumberland Island to the little restored church and sit there. Anchor at the old pier ruins.
