Welcome aboard Andrew. Sea Scouts sounds like something I would have participated in had I known of it back in the dinosaur era. lol
I did become a tenderfoot, etc., and an assistant scout master though.

Lots of wind in Kansas !!!

I was recently approached by someone wanting to get sea scouts on my boat. What kind of training do you/they have?

Welcome aboard Andrew. I am an ex Sea Scout and ex Sea Scout leader. Sea Scouts lead to my career...first the maritime academy and then the maritime business.

Re: Hello, from Sea Scout Ship 7149!

Howdy and Welcome Aboard Andrew!

Good to see a Sea Scout interested in a sailing community like this. It is a great place to learn a lot about sailing and power boats too.

I always wanted to be a sea scout, but there was no ship where I lived.

I was a Boy Scout and later, Explorer. But I always envied those who got to do their scouting on the boats.

Fair winds and good adventures to you and your shipmates!
