Hello Everyone.

I've popped in and out of this forum for quite a while, mostly looking at OpenCPN thread I admit. Time to contribute I think.
Currently I sail a nice Nicholson 26, Ladybird of Rhu, around the Firth of Clyde and, when time permits, outside the Mull of Kintyre and the Western Isles.
Before that I had a 2.5 Ton Hillyard, a restoration project that inoculated me against wooden boats.
Going back further I sailed a 9m Catalac and spent 5 years based in Tunisia (working) and cruising the central Med. It was tough, but someone had to do it.
The first boat I bought was a bilge-keel Westerly Windrush, a 26 foot bilge keeler well suited to Morecambe bay and the Irish Sea as I spent a lot of time sitting on the putty waiting on the tide coming back in.
