Hello from Santa Cruz, Bolivia!

Hello to all from Santa Cruz Bolivia.

Here I am land locked. My name is John am I am six months away from retiring. I have been living and working here for the last five years. When I return to the states I am looking to find a live aboard marina in the coast of Texas. If anyone knows of, or has information on the marinas in this area your help would be greatly appreciated.

cheers to all

Thanks John

Howdy from Texas John!
There are quite a few Texans here so I bet you will get lots of feedback
Clear Lake area (near Galveston) has a bunch of live aboard marinas. My parents retired in Palacious ( matagorda area), a nice sleepy one horse town and two little marinas. let us know what kind of area you'd like and we'll be glad to hep (texan for help )

Thanks to all for a warm welcome. Looking forward to reviewing the info.
I must say that I don't have a sailboat but a 50' ft offshore fishing boat in storage. So I am looking for some place that allows live aboards in a aera with good fishing. I do not know to much about the Texas coast but I prefer the gulf to the Atlantic. I grew up on the Georgia coast.

A special note for Captain58sailin Thanks for the advice. We have one similar. If your going to dance with the devil its best to know the rules.

Thanks to all
cheers

Buenos Tarde mi amigo.

So what type of work do you do here ? I see in your profile that you are a pilot. Myself I work in the agro field here. The most of my time is spent in the campo. But for sure the next time you are coming this way drop me a line. Need to run will chat more later.

Cheers John
