Hello from San Diego!

Hello! New to the forums here and want to give a quick intro! I'm Anna- originally from Alaska (but have been in San Diego for school...beer can races, anyone?) and have worked on everything from dredge rigs to charter yachts to 130' brigantines. My family owns a sundowner tug in Seward, Alaska and I've spent many a good month cruising those waters. Gotta love boating and the people that come with it

I just sold my Cal 29 in anticipation of some major traveling this coming year...which brings me to my main reason for joining here. I've signed on with the owner of a Lagoon 570 cat in Slovenia as crew starting in March of next year. I'm planning on staying with the family for around 5 months, but I know this is longer than the 3-month allocation allowed by the EU (or whoever decides these things.) Where might I ask about an getting an extended-trip visa that spans many countries when I'll be spending more time on water than land?

Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you all. Happy sailing!

Hi Anna and welcome to CruisersForum. I am definitely no expert on EU immigration rules but I am sure someone will have some ideas.

Sounds like you have a super background.

Enjoy the forum.

New title

I'd start a new thread and just ask your question. A relevant title could bring you more responses. People are more likely to respond if you're asking for help/information.
