Cool Hello from Saint Augustine, Florida

This site is a well kept secret. I am looking forward to learning and sharing with my new found group.
As for my boat's name, I was priviledged to have met AJ and crew of the real RASSELAS in Fort Lauderdale some years ago and was so impressed by this magnificent vessel, I said if I ever have a boat of my own it would be named RASSELAS.
See you on the water.

Welcome aboard Perry & Shirley!

“RASSELAS”, Prince of Abyssinia, was the main character in the Oriental tale by Samuel Johnson.
RASSELAS together with his mentor, his sister, and her servant traveled through Egypt searching for the 'happiest way of life'. However, they never found what they were looking for...

“Rasselas” (203 Ft Feadship) was subsequently sold and is now under the command of Capt. Richard Hutchinson.

Welcome Perry & Shirley,
Yes, this site is well hidden. I do not remember how I was directed to it.

Thanks all of you for your kind words.
Hope to meet each you some day in person.

GordMay I have the book. My story will end on a positive note because I found HAPPIEST wth my wife of 35 years, 3 children, 4 grandchildren and of course my "RASSELAS" which makes me feel like a PRINCE when I am on board.
