Hello from S. Florida

We have been in S. Fl for 11 years and finally bought our first boat. She is a 1985 Cabo Rico 38 and needs some work but will be beautiful when we are done. The plan is to spend the next 4-5 years getting the boat and ourselves ready for heading to the islands and beyond. Looking forward to lots of inspiration and advise from this forum.

Just remember, Do not just work on your boat for the next 4 -5 years, but also sail and enjoy her or you will end up hating the "Yachting Life". We spent 12 years restoring our Cheoy Lee but did so in segments so we could actually enjoy sailing her.
