Hello from Ricky - a slightly mad new member

Hello All
I am new to this forum but I suspect I will be spending a large amount of time here in the future.
I have recently bought a Colvic UFO 31 which I will use for coastal cruising on the south coast of UK.
But .... I am in the process of purchasing a 50ft ketch which I will be restoring in Mexico. More to follow on that one.

I have no doubt I will be asking lots of questions and if anyone knows a good shrink ........

Sorry Ricky,

I owned two boats for almost a year. They were on the same dock. The idea of them being on the other side of the world from each others is pretty scary stuff. I don't recall the time as fond as much as liked each of them. When I realized it was not really just two boat but two boats and two dinks I almost lost it all. I my case I avoided the shrink and found a "buyer". Cured the problem almost instantly. Best cure for the "two boats" disease in an amputation.

I really doubt you will have time to be here a lot with two boats but you may wish you were and of course you'll be most welcome when you show up.

Hi Ricky,
Welcome also. Good luck in quitting one of the beasties - I'm sure your time and money are best spent focussed on the other.
Cheers
JOHN
