Hello from Rhode River, Chesapeake Bay

Hey Fellow Sailors,

I just purchased a Pearson 27 which i will be keeping on the Rhode River and Casa Maria Marina. Would love to meet up with people for day, weekend or multiday outings. I want to sail to Tanger and Smith Island this summer and also up the Potomac.

Hello Jordan and welcome aboard. We've been to the Rhode several times over the years. Most recently last labor day for a small raftup. We also sail a Pearson and are docked down in Herring Bay, just south of you. We're back in the water and would love to meet up sometime.

Ultimate fun given your location. Go north for the summer months. Do Baltimore Hsrbor and sassafrass worton creek. Keeps you away from the jelly. The potomac is a great trip. You could do many summers finding places to cruise. I would try the northern bay for summer. Next year go south urbanna potomac st Mary etc....

We are a few months old and are a group of sailboat owners and experienced crew that have the same goals as you.... get out and sail more. Our activity hub is Eastport (Annapolis) but have member boats in your backyard. Am one of the founders so hope you check it out. - Vicki
