As a Canadian (but over 6 year resident), I can confidently say that apart from immigration/customs/quarantine/the-government-in-general, this is the best country in the world, by far! The beaches, culture, people, music, are all great here*.

If you end up near the Gold Coast, just let us know. We'll give you directions (or take you to) the good spots. Destinations along the lines of rain-forrest swimming holes, places the tourists have no idea about, etc. The Gold Coast is amazing, if you know where to go.


*Small disclaimer. New Zealand generally makes better music, especially all of the Reggae stuff.
