Another Ontarian here who is currently 2 hours away from my boat. She is currently in Bath Ontario but will be headed for Newcastle as soon as we can get her in the water in the spring. I live in Peterborough so her new home will only be about 1/2 an hour away! Dan

Is that at Loyalist Cove? Nice people at that marina.

Yes Zed, she is in Loyalist Cove. Our boat needs some repair work due to water penetration forward of the mast so I was asking a buddy who has his decks re-done who he thought was good to talk to. He replied that there was a little spot west of Kingston that had the best glass guys he knew at Loyalist Cove...I said she was 25 feet from their shop! We are not sure where to winter her next year, but we know for sure she will be spending a winter there in the next few years getting the repairs done. We bought her on the hard and have not even felt her move under our feet yet, it will be a long winter! Dan

Thanks Gord, I hope to be a good enough friend to all of you to pay back what I learn by reading your posts! I haven't had a boat for 18 years and my last one had an outboard! A lot of things will be new to me on this ship and I will be asking lots of questions! Dan

My son is currently 1st year at Trent.

Our boat is 2 hours away in Penetang.... a little too far but well worth the drive once we get there.

I "love" those guys. They undid the rigging, unstepped my mast, hauled the boat & powerwashed the bottom, without charging me a dime. I only paid to have to boat trucked up to Penetang.
It was a nice change after getting soaked at a marina in Kingston, where they weren't giving anyone a break!
