Hello from Ontario

Hi there I'm new here and would like to introduce myself. I am A paramedic, father of 3 and we are a year os so into the 10 yr plan of sailing the Caribbean for a year or two maybe an Atlantic loop. My current thoughts are to buy an 80's IRC racer/cruiser for the purpose but have yet to find the right one. I hope we can make this all happen.

VE3HBJ,

Welcome aboard!

Your taste in boats is somewhat similar to ours; I hope you find a real gem!

Re: Hello from Ontario

My preference would be two hulls but that's not in the budget. The other style I am find of are pilot house cutters but there aren't many of those at affordable prices that sleep 5 with out cramming or living on someone's bed during the day. I'm open to suggestions though we are early in the planning.
