Welcome fellow midwesterner. I am from Michigan and sail small cats on higgins Lk and a 45' on the Great Lakes. I will be coming through lake Erie next fall on the way out to the carribbean. Let me know if you come north next summer. You can see my site at www.sailperseverance.net

Re: Hello from Ohio

Yes, welcome aboard Waterking! A 22 footer is a great way to get started on sailing and Lake Erie should provide all the weather you will need!

Cheers!

Re: Hello from Ohio

Welcome waterking. There are a number of disabled sailing organizations on Lake Erie (and some of the craziest sailors too!). If you have questions on how to make the boat safe for your wife they can probably help. Enjoy! SC
