Hello from Newbies

After some 34 years of thinking about sailing, raising a kid, getting distracted now and then, getting re-energized, going broke, getting back on our feet, etc., etc., we are finally going to do it: This July we are taking an eight-day liveaboard learn to sail course for our ASA certificates. If we love it like we hope we love it, we will retire to a cruising lifestyle as soon as we can put together enough money for a good old boat. If not ... well, we won't go there right now.

Aloha and welcome to the forum Zero. I've been through it to. To quote the "Dead"...What a long strange trip it's been.

Welcome Zerokini, except for the sailing course, you sound just like us. Though, thinking about it, a sailing course wouldn't be a bad idea....Allan
