Hi DumnMad, I keep the boat a Gulf Harbour. Loads of travel … but good cruising grounds great place to keep the boat.

Re: Hello from New Zealand

Howdy and Welcome Aboard the Forum Alistair!

I am one of those sailors who hopes to see New Zealand some day, and from what I hear the waters around there are challenging. I am sure you must have lots of experience that others would find helpful or interesting too.

A few of my favorite tips:

Since you are new to this forum, let me mention a few things you might miss but that could help you more enjoy your time here:

There are also some "social groups" that are more focused on special interests. I am not a member of those groups, but you should be able to find them if you do some exploring of the forum website, look for "groups."

Alistair, we will be back there in two weeks time. Will keep and eye out for your boat. Say G'day if you spot us. Hope it's not too cold

Cheers
