All the best from another Minnesotan.

In the islands now with the intention of someday sailing back up to the Great Lakes

Which location was that? We're considering doing that in Duluth. Already been talking to Michael Taylor at Northern Breezes up there.

We actually did it on Lake Harriet on our own boat. We had bought it over the winter, and had it launched before they had their boats ready on Minnetonka, and the Instructor I think lived somewhere in uptown anyway, so they agreed to do it on our boat. Great course, and Northern Breezes seem to have a ton of other opportunities to sail, including bvi trips, flotillas, etc.
