Hello from Michigan

Hello to all, my name is Chris. I'm new to this forum. I spent some time yesterday checking this site out, and really enjoyed the posts that I read. I've been sailing on and off since the age of 13. My current boat is a 1977 Crysler C26, and I love it. My last boat was a 1974 Luger Southwind 21, it's amazing how much difference 6 feet can make. Standing head room, an enclosed head, a galley, and sleeping for 6. I also enjoy ice sailing, but don't get to do that much here in Michigan because of the snow. Oops I'm sorry I said the S word 😬!! Alas soon the white .... fertilizer will be gone and the inland seas will flow. And once again we'll all enjoy the wind and waves, and the suns sweet rays. I look forward to chatting and reading more, and perhaps netting some of you. Till then fare winds.

Thanks for the greetings all. We sail out of Muskegon most of the time when we go to lake Michigan. Being a trailersailor puts limits on our boat size, but not so much on destinations.
