Welcome

The only place I’ve been in DR was Luperon and the water was ....... well ......

Get books by Dodge, Pavlidis, and Van Sant - they’ll tell you everything you need to know about working your way east from Miami through the Bahamas and on to the east coast of the Dominican Republic.

Go to Coconut Grove Sailing Club, they have sailing lessons, and people often need crew.
