Hello from London UK.

Hi I am signing into the forum, having read many of the posts it seems like time to introduce myself rather than just lurking.

My wife Mary and I sail our Oyster Mariner from Ramsgate in Kent, England. Our cruising grounds are the English Channel, North Sea and the Irish and Celtic Seas. In recent years we have cruised to France, Holland and Ireland as well as the East and South Coast of Britain. Our ambition is to take a sabbatical for a year from June 2007 to complete an Atlantic Circuit with our twin daughters Molly and Kate who will be 9 in October 2006. We are currently planning and preparing for the trip and will be seeking advice and ideas as to how best to make a success of the project.

Thumbs up Jigsaw, Welcome Aboard

Another welcome from the Pacific North West (USA). I'll be sailing this coming weekend with a chap from Kent (Eric Pazmar). I dought you know him but who knows, it seems the world is getting smaller.

Welcome Jigsaw from Welsh Wales!!

You'll find this site excellent and free from the politics which a lot of sites seem to generate. I did the Atlantic in the first ARC in my Achilles 24 and stayed over there for three and a half years - as you can tell I didn't really like it!!! You will have a wonderful time and you are right to begin planning it now.

Best wishes with the preparations and execution

Cheers
David
