Hello from London

I've just booked my first charter, a Lagoon 380 in Gocek, Turkey, for September, where along with my girlfriend and a couple of others we will be attempting our RYA Day Skipper Course (we're doing the theory beforehand). I'm also doing my RYA Levels 1 & 2 dinghy sailing courses this August to gain some experience beforehand, on a Topaz 16 catamaran, which looks like a lot of fun!

Has anyone sailed around Gocek before and got any tips?

Also, I have been trying to find a book on the Lagoon 380, but can't seem to find anything, I presume there must be something out there, does anyone know of any books I can read up on?

Many thanks,

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you here. I can't help with the Lagoon 380 book but you might pick the appropriate forum, i. e. multihull to get a little closer.
kind regards,
