I lived in Arabia for eleven years before I went sailing on my Privilege 39 catamaran, Exit Only. I miss the Arabian sands - Land cruising in the dunes is fun. Cruising in a catamaran is also fun.

Good luck on your search for a catamaran.

Since I got tired of seeing all the dust and dirt here in Afghanistan, I made sure to take a picture of myself with plenty of water while visiting Houston/Galveston/Kemah during my R&R a few weeks ago.

5 trips to that area of the world. No desire AT ALL to see it even from 30K ft. Spent a lot of that time in tents or less. Too much gravel, not really at all like sand on a nice tropical beach... Enjoy, Keep up the Fire!

Chief,

Enjoy that beer. I'm only half way through my tour in Baghdad, and R&R is still a few months away.
