Hello from Guatemala

Hello to everyone.

My name is Andrea and I am Italian.

Although my name is a little tricky on this side of the world, I am a man and I live in Guatemala since ... a lot of time ago.

Last year, I found a nonsuch 30 in the rio dulce lake on the Atlantic coast and since then, I am spending my time trying to get her in good shape.

I am not new to sailing but a newbie in having one this size.

I am sure I will enjoy this forum as I have often been reading threads and posts while looking for some answers in the net.

So that's it and sure I will have a lot of questions and thank you all in advance for your help and support.

Welcome to CF, AndreaCalvaruso.

I bet you're having a good time fixing up your Nonesuch.

Cheers, mate,

Ann & Jim

Re: Hello from Guatemala

Those were well built boats with a real following, gave up a bit to windward but went really well on a reach plus they are roomy. Congratulations on your new toy.

Re: Hello from Guatemala

Thank you all for your welcome!

I am quite happy with the boat and I hope to have her ready for this year. She came sailing with the old owner and I hope to sail it around soon.

Very well designed and built boat and her conditions are very good for a 30 years old boat.
