pirate Hello from Gelflingsmom

Hello everyone- I have so many questions and looks like this joint will have so many answers!
This is the start of my second season on the Chesapeake
Bay. Hoping I can learn more this year. I have found amazing peace on our boat. Always worry about her when big storms or hurricanes come through.
Hurricane Irene nearly gave me a heart attack... I look forward to getting to know y'all.

Kat.

Re: Hello from Gelflingsmom

Boats are always a source of peace and contentment to me once I am away from the dock and out sailing. I also have a severe allergy to hurricanes.

One of the reasons I like smaller yachts is that I have so many different options when tropical storms and hurricanes come through. There are more places I can anchor, and my storm gear doesn't need to be as heavy.

Enjoy your sailing life.
