Hello from Florida's West Coast

Well it's time to get back on the water. We were setting up our custom 40' cat back when hurricane Charlie hit and took out our boat and sunk her so we went back to land life and moved around a lot. Now I am so tired of being on land we just bought a 40' Mariner Ketch hull #81 and are hauling it out to get it ready for sailing again. It seems like a lot of time has past and now we are ready to start over. We are looking forward to meeting others with like interest and gain and share knowledge.

Re: Hello from Florida west coast

Welcome back to the club.

We have been dealing with the effects of Francis (not even a hurricane when it got ahold of the boat, just a TS) but here we are 6 and 1/2 years later and she is still on the hard.

Look forward to seeing you out there very soon!

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Good to have you back to sailing. I enjoyed my old wood Mariner 35 while I sailed her interisland and to the mainland. Great sailing boats.
kind regards,
