Hello from Brisbane Australia

Hi!

I'm Es, I live on an early-mid 70's, 19 1/2 foot Red Witch, which is a fixed keel mono moored on the Brisbane river.

I've been living on board for around 6 months and whilst it's definitely squishy (half height cabin ) it's home.

Re: Hello from Brisbane Australia

Welcome aboard Es!
I used to live aboard a 24 foot boat many moons ago. Yes it was small but I could cook breakfast, make coffee and put in new music on the stereo and never get out of bed!
When your life is forced to be so simple, but you do it by choice... there is a great feeling of liberation in that!

Re: Hello from Brisbane Australia

Brisbane is awesome, and if the only way I could do it was in a 24 foot boat, that would work for me.

I wonder what I would have to do with my family?

Hello from around the corner. I'm moored at Dockside in Kangaroo Point. Send me a message if you want to meet up.

24 foot would be palatial compared to the 19 and a half I'm on. But it's a nice spot, great views, a nice little community, cheap moorings. It certainly works for me

Hi Es, welcome, remember, small boat = small problems, big boat = big problems.
