Hello from Arizona!

My husband and I just earned our ASA certification and will be renting a small keelboat this weekend for our first solo sailing experience.
I am looking forward to getting my feet wet, (pun intended) and honing my skills to eventually become capable of transoceanic sailing.
I'm thrilled to have found a website with people who like to sail as well.
It is a pleasure to meet you all!

Re: Hello from Arizona!

Welcome here! You wouldn't be from Scottsdale would you? Someone here was looking at a big Vagabond 47 sailboat there, so there must be a big ocean over there somewhere.

Persevere and above all, enjoy. I also second (sixth?) post #5.
