Hello, from aground in Illinois.

Hi, It is nice to be here. I have been sailing on and off most of My life. I have sailed on 3 tallships, The Elissa, Pride of Baltimore, and Spirit of Massachusetts. I grew up in Texas so I helped restore the Elissa.
I own a 17 Daysailer, and Im restoring a San Juan 23. Im looking to get back into sailing, and learning everything I have forgotten, and didnt have a chance to learn. Looking to get a bigger boat, and do some cruiseing.

Welcome to the forum. It's too cold in Illinois for us. Our daughter lives near Chicago.

G'day, mate. Welcome aboard. I routinely pass through your "neck of the woods" to deliver boats up and down the lake. Cheers.

Welcome I have my boat on the Illinois side of the Mississippi mm 283. Don't see many sailboats on this pool, saw several on pool 19 when we cruised up to the Quad cities.
