Hello from Adelaide

hi everyone, my wife and i just bought our first yacht its a savage 42 built in 1979 from grp. i sailed her from sydney (where we bought her) to adelaide in july. it was a great trip in which i learnt a lot from a skipper that we hired. only a few minor things went wrong but the old girl held up exceptionally well considering the conditions. we will be doing a few trips around adelaide then up the east coast next couple of years. further down the track when we are more experienced a trip to south pacific islands then off to americas. i think this website forum will give us plenty of information to enjoy our leisure time. thanks brett and paris

Welcome, sounds like a nice first trip

Well let's be honest, you live in Australia's second best State (after WA) - but wish you guys well on the adventure in front of you.

Welcome aboard. We are ex Adelaidians now living in NZ and loving the sailing here. Never sailed S.A. but did the East coast and you will love that. Good luck. Ray and Fiona
