Welcome, just bear in mind that this is a forum, a discussion group with mutual development and cross learning in mind. There are many cat threads, mainly about things that went wrong, and how others have fixed them when they went wrong. The typical BVI rental boats are termed 'CondoCats' on account of their (perceived) poor sailing ability and the tendency to motor everywhere, a/c at full, and pretend they are cruising. If you are looking for an escape from all that you are most welcome, and hopefully you are looking/already have, a small boat for playing at real sailing.
Tales of stupid things people do are also most welcome, (helps us to feel superior), and there are planty of threads on similar subjects too. Try searching 'Challenges'.

Good to have you here and would like to hear of your adventures there. Have done a bit of sailing in the Carib but not much.
